I have my 30 week appointment today...boring! The drive there is longer than the dr visit. He will measure my belly and check the heartbeat and send me on my way only to come back in two weeks for the same process. The next few weeks are gonna go by so slow but I am going to enjoy my time with my family of 3 before it becomes 4. Major progress has been made in Kynleigh's room. Bed is set up along with dresser and changing table. Her wall letters are in the process of being made and the mattress is on its way. I will post a pic as soon as I get the bedding on and the wall letters up! Can't wait!

2 years today!!
I cannot believe that 2 years ago today I married Brandon. The time has gone by so fast! In two years we had our baby girl Libby and another on the way...Miss Kynleigh Grace. We have also bought a new home and moved. I am so thankful and so blessed to have Brandon as my husband. He is an amazing father and wonderful husband. I am so lucky to have him in my life and I thank God for him everyday. I am looking forward to the years to come with him and our girls!

Yucky Monday
I was looking forward to a trip to the pool this am and it rained...surprise surprise. My poor tan is almost non-existent again! Same with Libby's. Love her little tan lines on her rolls around her diaper. So cute! Anyway...I am having one of those days where I am kinda down for no reason...feel unattractive, tired, no motivation, etc. I then got an email that Libby's one year pics are done. To view a few go to amandamitchellphotography.blogspot.com. After looking at those they made me smile and cheered me up! Sometimes it is the simple things that make you realize how blessed you are when you are feeling blue. Hoping for a pool day tomorrow. Come on weather...cooperate with me!! So glad the grass is green again instead of brown but sheesh!

What? I need iron? Booo!!!
I got a call from my doctor's office yesterday. I passed glucose. I am anemic however. Booo. I have to take iron 2 times a day until I deliver. Can we say Benefiber here I come? Yikes!! I need prayers please to make it through the next 11 weeks. If you recall I posted a blog towards the beginning of my pregnancy of a terrible bathroom experience that involved Libby staring at me and pointing at me. I called Brandon and ended up hanging up on him. I thought I was dying! I stopped taking iron then. Now it has caught up with me and now it's double dose a day! Oh geez!!

28 week Appointment
My 28 week appointment went well! I had the glucose test. I got to drink the lovely orange drink and get my blood taken an hour later. It wasn't so bad. I chugged it down so I wouldn't think about the nasty taste. My glucose test with Libby was different. I had to eat jelly beans. I am not sure which was worse. I disliked both but it wasn't awful like everyone makes it out to be. I have now graduated to the every two week appointments. It makes me feel good cause to me it means I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. Don't get me wrong, pregnancy isn't that horrible, and at times I enjoy it. It's just that I can't sit comfortably without my back hurting and my boobs lay on my stomach and it is the most akward feeling ever. Last pregnancy it seems like once I hit 30 weeks it flew by. I will be 29 weeks on Thursday so not too much longer! The dr. said everything looked good. Now the appointments get boring where I drive there to listen to the heartbeat and for him to say "see ya in two weeks". I am looking forward to getting the nursery ready! It is starting to become real! AHHH!!
Frugal shopping has been going on...hit up Target tonight and saved $17 with coupons and sales! Woohoo! I think i had $6.55 in actual coupons. I can't tell ya what I purchased though cause it includes father's day gifts but I got a lot for my money. Target just recently put up some good coupons! It is worth checking it out. Also went to Meijer today and saved $1 in coupons, $2 in rewards with my mperks card, and I got a deal where I spent $20 in baby clothes so I got an instant $5 off. Woohoo!!! Didn't know that Meijer's sold Carter's clothes and cheap at that! Having a thirty-one party tomorrow night. That should be fun! Other than that..not much planned the rest of the week. Just how I like it!!

Lazy Summer Days!
I am already loving the beginning of summer. Libby and I have been going to the pool for a few hours a couple times a week, going to the library, running errands, and watching Sesame Street. (She is a huge fan!!) I am just trying to enjoy my last few months before life gets hectic again. Last summer I was pale as a ghost because Libby was just a newborn who could not wear sunscreen and the heat was too brutal for her. We did a lot of sitting in the house. It has been great taking her on walks and going to the pool. I am enjoying spending every minute with her before Kynleigh arrives. I may sound like I am dreading her arrival which totally isn't true, I am just enjoying cherishing my moments with just our family of 3 before it becomes 4. I am enjoying reading for fun and I know that will come to an end soon as well. I am also enjoying my full night's sleep and I will be sad to see it go for a couple of months at least or in Libby's case...8 months. Ahhh!! Have you ever gotten a massage and you can't enjoy it because all you think about the whole time is that it is going to end soon? Well that is how I am with my sleep. Every night before I go to bed I think about how wonderful it is to sleep all night and how it is all going to end soon. Boooo....Okay enough crying. I have been enjoying some frugal shopping and so has Brandon.....
"Cecil's 3, Kroger 0". Yes he did it again! Brandon used the baby wipes coupon again and pocketed it at Kroger. He again checked out through U-Scan when no one was at the front and walked out with a huge grin on his fact because he felt like he ripped Kroger off again. He is silly. We did get some great deals! I got 3 packs of wipes, a bottle of ketchup, bottle of red hot sauce, a big container of instant pink lemonade, 2 2-liters, 2 powerades, a box of texas toast for $16 after tax. A total of $5 was saved with coupons! I am looking forward to getting Sunday's paper for the coupons which I will get free by the way because I have a $2 register reward at Rite Aid. Yay!
Tonight we are going to go to the mall to enjoy some free chick fil a (coupons duh) and maybe rent a redbox. Exciting lives we live. I have a dr. appointment on Monday (glucose...ahhhh!!) so I will give an update then!

Yay for Successful Weekend!!
I love the weekends! I get to spend time with Muffin! We went to eat with some friends from church Friday night that we hadn't seen in a while. On Saturday morning we did the pool thing. Miss cranky gets nasty right at 2 hours after being there. She again fell asleep before we left the parking lot. At this rate my tan is going to be slow coming! Brandon and I took a nap while Libby napped. We went to Walgreens, Jimmy Johns, Orange Leaf then Shilito Park. Brandon put Libby to bed and went to a movie with a friend while I read a book, and caught up on some dvrs. On Sunday I visited my old church to attend a wedding shower afterward. We then finally got in Libby's 1 year pics! Woohoo...it's complete! Libby was a stinker and didn't want to be still even for a second so who knows if we will get any of her looking at the camera or not. When she looked at the camera she was stick her finger in her mouth. Figures. At one point she was insisting on petting a bumble bee while my husband was running for dear life from the bee. Typical day with the Cecil Family.
I spent some time yesterday coupon clipping and writing out a list of good purchases after looking at the ads from the paper. Couponing is not only a great way to keep me at home with Libby but it has also become fun for the whole family. Brandon has twice this weekend taken a pampers wipes coupon to Kroger (they double .50 and under). He came back home with the coupon on both occasions. He cracks me up! He excitedly told me the story of how both times he went through U-scan and waited until the cashier was not at the stand or was distracted and snuck the coupon back in to his pocket. He was so proud of himself. I am all about saving money but I think it is hilarious how he had a plan in place to keep his 50 cent coupon. It made his day! I think he is taking it to the next level but gotta love him for it! Saving money is fun and I appreciate the fact that he likes it to even though he may not go about it the best way. For all you moms with babes in diapers-Rite Aid has an awesome deal. Pampers are on sale for $8.97 with your scan card. I used $1.50 coupon and earned $2 off any purchase next time. It's like paying $5.47. Thinking of going and getting another pack! Children's tylenol and motrin are buy one get one free. Typically drug stores are more expensive than places like Walmart, Target, Meijer, but they can have some awesome deals. You just have to watch their ads and combine with coupons. I love the fact that Rite-Aid has the scan card that you can earn money off future purchases as well as discounts on perscriptions and Rite-Aid brand products.
Don't have any fabulous plans this week. Next Monday I have my glucose test and next Tuesday I am hosting a 31 gifts party. Looking forward to both!!
