Boo For Stubborn Libby!!

So I had my 39 week dr. appointment yesterday. I didnt get to see the doctor, he was out of town so I saw the nurse. She informed me that my cervix is still hard and pushed far back and there is no dilation progress. So what this all means is Monday is my due date and she is no where near ready! Very frustrating!! And you know what else is frustrating? The fact that 2 people who were do on my date or a couple days after had their babies this week! No fair! Libby is being a little stubborn butt! I just want to see her so bad that I cant stand it! And I kinda want to go to the tanning bed realy bad and start working out!! I have a wedding to get ready for in Florida in 8 weeks! yikes!! And I need the time to figure out a schedule and routine and figure out this mom business before I go!!

I go back to see him Monday and he will decide what to do. I vote C-section and lets pull her on out! lol! 4 more days until we know Libby's fate....

39 Weeks!!!!

So today I am officially 39 weeks pregnant. I am suppose to go have this baby a week from today if she doesnt come on her own this week. Last night I thought it was time. I woke up with this funny pressure feeling in my back. And.....then.....I suddenly realized it was just Jeter stretching his feet out and his was pushing his feet up against my back...haha.

I was so blessed to have a fantastic weekend. On Saturday we had a cookout with all my friends to celebrate my bday. The weather turned out perfectly and everyone was able to make it!

Yesterday was my birthday, we went to church then over to my aunt's for a lunch. Mamaw fell out of my parent's car and then didnt want to eat anything because she had fallen. But boy when my mom brought her a cupcake, she scarfed that thing down! haha. She is always entertaining! I love it. We visited with the family for a while then went on to my parents house. We ate birthday cake and got to look in our Easter baskets. I got my birthday card as well. We also got to open up Miss Libby's Easter basket. It was so cute!!

Now its back to work : ( Hoping this week goes by fast!! Maybe we will have some good news by Wednesday!!

No Progress : (

So I had my doctor's appointment yesterday...still no progress. It is set, she will be taken on April 12th if she does not come before. That is 11 days...I think I can handle it! Can't wait to see her! Then I will probably want to put her back in..lol. Just kidding!!

So my grandma came to see the house yesterday. She loved it! I was so pleased that she was pleased because she is hard to please...does that make sense? Anyway, she really liked it! As she stood up to leave she ripped the loudest fart ever! haha. Brandon had to go in the other room cause he was crying laughing and everytime I caught my mom's eye she giggled. It was hillarious. I dont think my grandma had a clue what she had done. I loved it! It made my day. haha.

Well I finally got my windows tinted, looks really good..thanks to my mother-in-law. It was my birthday present. Now we can go to Florida in June without the sun in Libby's eyes! Can't wait!!

I took a walk last night. It was sooo nice and I met a pretty orange and white kitty that lives up the street. He was very sweet. He wanted to walk home with me and Brandon. I loved him. Jeter would die if he knew we loved on another feline. Then afterwards I treated myself to a yummy slice of chocolate cake with chocolate icing from the Kroger bakery. It was delicious! Of course Brandon had to get a cupcake since I got something.

I am looking forward to dinner with Miss Tiff tonight. I havent seen her in a while! Hopefully I can sneak another walk in. This weather is amazing! Just a few more days...then happy birthday to me!!!

I need a Spring Break too!!!

Its a beautiful day outside and if I had stayed with Fayette County Schools I would be off and enjoying this weather. Im not saying I regret my decision leaving the school system for another job, however, I think that everyone that works anywhere should get a spring break too!! I think it would improve morale and everyone's moods! It should be a law!

Today is going to be a very busy day...I have to drop my car off to get tinted (yay! a bday present from the in-laws!!), go visit the dr. (only to wait a half an hour to see him for 5 minutes to be told there is no progress), get some necessity grocery items, find out someway to go back to pick up my car, eat dinner, and be ready to be back at my house by 7 so that my grandmother can come see my house for the first time. Yes I have lived there a year and she has never seen it. My grandfather was so bad off that she wasnt able to leave him to come see it so I am glad she is finally able to come see where I go home to. However she tends to give her opinion without being asked so if she says anything negative about it I will punch her...haha..just kidding. You gotta love old people!

I finally got some short sleeve shirts last night so that I dont have to wear long sleeve in this 70 plus degree weather! Bought five shirts, guess I will just rotate them for the next two weeks, lol.

So glad I have Friday off and then it is birthday weekend!! Celebrating with a cookout on Saturday and Easter and church on Sunday! Woohoo!! I will have to post a pic of my big fat belly on Easter/birthday!! Oh btw...I think it should be optional to wear pants when pregnant..ugh! Seriously they are cutting into my thighs right now and I cant stand it!! Oh well I will live...

38 weeks!!!

Well I am officially 38 weeks today! My due date, April 12th is exactly 2 weeks from today. It is so funny to me that the whole pregnancy I was so afraid of pre-term labor and here I am today wondering if she is going to come out on her own. If she does not come on April 12 then I will be induced on April 13. I gotta get this body bikini ready for a June beach wedding which I happen to be a bridesmaid in. I dont think I have ever craved to work out or tan so much in my life! Thank goodness I got a tread mill as an early bday present. It is already set up and ready to go! Cant wait to put it to use!

This weekend went very well...I returned/exchanged some shower gifts, and cleaned the house on Saturday. Then we had friends over to watch the game only to be let down by a Kentucky loss : ( Sunday was a relaxing day. I went to church and enjoyed a nice nap followed by some Mexican food for dinner.

I am getting extrememly anxious to see what this week will bring. Will I have a baby, will I not? Who knows. Sunday is my 28th birthday. I definitely do not want her to come that day! It also happens to be Easter which makes me sad cause I feel cheated that it falls on my birthday. I want to celebrate Easter as a separate day. This week is suppose to be gorgeous! Up in the 70s! It is suppose to be 75 degrees opening day of Keeneland (Friday). I am starting to feel too old to do the Keeneland thing not that I would be able to do it this year anyway. I am going to have to purchase some cheap UK tshirts in size Large in order to make it through the next few weeks. I have zero maternity clothes in short sleeve. Good thing today's weather is yucky so that I can go purchase them later today to be ready for the rest of the week.

I am hoping to have a cookout on Saturday to celebrate the bday. Hopefully the weather will be nice! Thats all I have for now...hopefully I will have some good news after my dr. appointment on Wednesday!!!

Yay! The stroller is ready!

Muffin put together the stroller last night! Some of his wonderful family went in together and purchased it and our car seat. Good thing she wasnt in it, Brandon would have dropped her on her head about five times while trying to figure it out. haha. Now we just need Miss Libby to show up so we can put her in it! Cant wait!

37 weeks

It is down to the final 3 weeks of pregnancy. I am so amazed how fast the time has past. I am so incrediably excited, anxious, and nervous. I was so blessed to have my final shower yesterday where I received my pack in play, and car seat/stroller travel system. So excited! We have all our essentials now so she can officially come. I am so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. I feel so lucky!

Super excited about the Cats playing in the tournament not super excited about the late game time on Thursday! I hope that they pull off another big win! I hope I dont go into labor during a game because I may end up having to call a cab to the hospital. lol. My mom and Brandon for sure will not be to thrilled if she comes during game time.

I am going to stay busy this week washing Libby's things, putting her stuff away and organizing it all. We also have to pick up a few more little items and return some duplicates. Those are my hot plans for the week. Pretty uneventful I know. I plan on resting and taking it easy these last few weeks because I wont be resting for a long time after that!
