Libby's Room

Whew, I didn't realize how much work it was to put away all of Libby's little goodies from the showers! I have been so blessed! I mean look at her closet! She has more clothes than me! She is going to be a spoiled little diva for sure!

36 weeks and counting...

I am finally in my last month of pregnancy! Woohoo!! The whole pregnancy has gone by super fast but I am sure the last four weeks will drag as I anxiously await Libby Rose's arrival! I can't wait to see if there has been any "progress" since last week. Probably not but we will see...

I had another great weekend and as always it goes by super fast. I enjoyed getting off early on Friday to enjoy the UK game. I got my hair colored so that my gray hairs dont show up in labor and delievery photos (always gotta look good), and then Brandon and I watched the movie Precious. It was a great movie but so sad because there are people that really have to live in those conditions and situations and it makes me feel guilty sometimes for how blessed I am. Makes you really think when you are complaining about the silly things in life. Saturday I had a baby shower that was wonderful and another great one on Sunday at church. I am so blessed to have so many great friends and family! Everything was amazing. After the shower yesterday I about had a heart attack watching the UK game. That was way too close for my comfort! I hope they do well in the tournament! We have a rough bracket and its going to be tough.

I am looking forward to the week! I plan on working in Libby's room and determining what else I will need before the princess arrives! I am hoping to have a relaxing weekend this weekend and purchase a treadmill for immediately following her arrival! I got a wedding in Florida and I need to get my body back asap! I have packed on 38 pounds to date thats needs to go away pronto!

It's Friday!!!!!!!!

It's Friday!! Yay! I never thought it would come! This week has gone by super slow and from what I am told the next four weeks will drag as well as I anxiously await Libby's arrival! Should be a great weekend! I have one baby shower on Saturday, and one on Sunday! Then my last will be next Sunday! Can't wait!
Today I am having lunch with my cousin Shelby..should be fun! Then I am going to enjoy the UK game, do some laundry, catch up on my dvr's and then go get my hair colored. woohoo! Brandon and I will probably go to dinner and then watch the movie Precious. I am looking forward to it! Nothing better than nice relaxing Friday evenings at home.
Let's hope the Cats bring home an SEC title this weekend and next week goes faster than this week!

Libby's not ready...

So I had my weekly doctor appointment today. Not dilated, cervix is still long and hard. Libby does not look like she will be visiting us early! I guess that is good news. She really needs at least 2-3 more weeks to avoid jaundice and all of that stuff. I would also like for her to fatten up! I go back next week and will see if there is any change. I am so close yet so far away. I am just so thankful that she is doing good and continues to do good! I am hoping the weather remains well until her birth and I get to enjoy my 28th birthday which happens to be on Easter outside of the hospital!!

Its Monday again??? Booo

So its Monday again...boooo. Why are the weeks so slow and the weekends go by so fast? I had a wonderful weekend by the way. It was very productive. Brandon and I went to the mall Friday night so that I could purchase a shirt for my showers this coming weekend. (I have one on Saturday and one on Sunday). Then Saturday Brandon worked for a bit, I cleaned the house a little. Then we went for a nice walk at the park, did some grocery shopping for the week, and then Brandon washed my car while I napped. Then we had a great dinner with friends at Shamrocks. On Sunday we went to church, watched the UK game, then learned "The Art of Breastfeeding" at Central Baptist. All I learned was that it is going to be really hard. Thinking I might change my mind again! Then we had dinner with the inlaws and I got to open up my some shower gifts. Woohoo! Its always fun opening up little girl things : )

I am officially 35 weeks today, at most I have 5 weeks left and at least 2 weeks left. Yikes! It is kind of scary to think how much my life will dramatically change in just a few weeks. Not only am I freaked out about the idea of a baby having to come out my you know what but I am also freaked out about how Brandon and I cant just pick up and go out to eat, or meet friends for dinner, or go here and there without having to plan. It will all be worth it though in the end! Cant wait to see her and hold her for the first time!

People Annoy Me!

It's funny how exciting birthdays are when you are younger and then when you get older, they are just another day. Brandon aka Muffin turned 27 yesterday. We celebrated by going to my doctor's appointment and then went to Rafferty's for dinner and Baskin Robbins for ice cream afterwards. We will do dinner with friends to celebrate over the weekend.

Okay, on to my tirade...some people really really anger me to the point I have to stop what I am doing and pray and ask God for forgiveness and patience. I think there should be an option to ship crazy worthless people over to a horrible foreign country so that they can not ever bother you again. Ugh my word.

34 weeks!

Yay! I am finally 34 weeks! 6 weeks to go! I am getting more nervous as the days go along. I sit and think, oh crap, this thing is in me and its gonna have to come out somehow..yikes!! I didnt do anything really exciting this weekend but recovered from the sickness. We did get around to actually putting Libby's bedding on. It looks great! Tommorrow is Muffin's 27 birthday...yay! I am celebrating by dragging him to my doctor's appointment and then going to the dentist for my 6 month cleaning...woohoo!! I am attaching a few pics from the shower...woohoo!!
